1. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
2. 2 to 4 years of software development experience in C++, and have working experience in both Unix and Windows OS
3. Experience in developing complex C3 software system will be an advantage
4. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server database will be advantageous
5. Strong technical and analytical skills
6. Have strong team spirit with can-do attitude
7. Enthusiastic in working in a dynamic environment
For Senior Engineers:
9. Development experience in C++ and .NET, and have working experience in both Unix and Windows OS
10. Able to lead a team of at least 3 software engineers and provides them technical guidance whenever necessary
2. Troubleshoot and solve issues related to the software within the same team
4. Review and refine product requirements of the assigned subsystem to form a stable basis for product development
5. Translate the requirement into software design that conforms to the software architecture, and maintain the traceability between each stage of the design
6. Lead a team of software engineers in development of the assigned subsystem
7. Provide technical support during integration and testing
8. Monitor the progress of his/her team members and update team's progress during progress meeting

The Talent Solutions HCM technical architect will work with public sector clients to help solution and implement HCM technical solutions. The HCM technical architect will have the ability to work on and lead both technical solution strategy and technical implementation engagements.

Travel Statement
Consultants hired into IBM's GBS Public Sector consulting practice will typically be located at an IBM office or client site in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Occasionally, some projects require travel outside the DC metropolitan area, and consultants should be willing and able to travel for those assignments.
